If this is not possible, policymakers should assume that global warming is essentially unstoppable and consider defence measures as the most prudent policy approach." In a post to WattsUpWithThat, MIchael Cochrane writes: "Policy solutions undertaken to deal with AGW [man-made global warming], on the premise that it is dangerous (DAGW), will have massive monetary and non-monetary costs to society. Such high costs demand a correspondingly high degree of certainty regarding the likelihood of possible future scenarios."
